FAQ

How do I book an appointment?

Simply click the blue “BOOK A SESSION” button at the top right of the page. This will take you to a calendar where you can select a time that works for you.

What is your availability and how much does an appointment cost?

In-person, video call, and phone appointments are available from 10:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. on weekdays.

The full session fee is $120. I also offer a sliding scale payment system for people who are currently studying, unemployed, or have other circumstances which would make it difficult to pay the full fee.

Click the “BOOK A SESSION” at the top right of the page to see specific times and dates that are available.

Do I need a referral? Is counselling covered by a mental health plan?

You do not need a referral. While Considered Counselling is not covered by a mental health plan, appointment fees are set to match the average gap payment that you would be paying with a plan. This also means that I can provide as many sessions as necessary, and we would not have to work around the 10 session limit that comes with a mental health plan.

Do you see children or teenagers? What about couples or international clients?

Counselling services are available to young adults, adults, and seniors residing in Australia.

I do not offer counselling to couples or children 17 years old or younger at this time. Due to different international licensing and regulation requirements, I also do not offer counselling to international clients.

I’m LGBTQI. Is this service for me?

Considered Counselling is proud to be LGBTQI-friendly. Clients of any sexuality and gender are welcome here.
